Flat-rate home range hood cleaning from the same Phoenix grease-removal specialists trusted in commercial kitchens. We clean the hood interior, filters, blower wheel and motor, protect your kitchen, and haul the grease away.
Home range hoods collect the same cooking grease as commercial systems, only more slowly. Grease buildup on the blower wheel can reduce airflow and leave smoke and cooking odors hanging in the kitchen. AQHC removes the components we can safely reach from inside the kitchen and cleans the parts that actually move the air.
Filters, hood interior, canopy and capture area degreased by hand, with stainless surfaces finished before we leave.
Core ServiceThe blower wheel and motor are removed from the housing and cleaned individually rather than simply wiping the visible hood surface.
IncludedOver-the-range microwave vents, recirculating systems and downdraft cooktops can be serviced when grease has accumulated around filters and airflow components.
Available Add-OnStandard baffle, mesh and charcoal filters can be replaced when the existing filter is damaged or beyond effective cleaning.
As NeededAdd surrounding backsplash, cabinet faces above the range and reachable ceiling grease while the crew is already set up.
Available Add-OnResidential service for landlords, property managers, short-term rentals, turnovers and homes preparing to list.
Property ServiceChoose the tier that best matches the condition of the hood. If you are unsure, text a photo of the underside of the hood to (602) 654-7279 and AQHC can confirm the appropriate tier before scheduling.
Additional pricing: Second hood +$99. Commercial-grade residential hood systems and service beyond the standard Greater Phoenix route area are quoted before scheduling. Final scope and price are confirmed before work begins.
The residential program uses route scheduling so AQHC can keep the published pricing practical across the Valley without creating a second set of residential city pages that competes with the commercial service-area structure.
Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Glendale, Mesa, Chandler, Paradise Valley and Ahwatukee.
Including Buckeye, Queen Creek, Anthem, Cave Creek, Sun City, Litchfield Park and other surrounding Valley communities.
Casa Grande, Maricopa, Wickenburg, Gila Bend and other extended service locations may include travel quoted in advance.
Many households can use a two-to-three-year professional cleaning cycle, while frequent frying, wok cooking or high-heat searing may require service more often. Reduced suction, a louder fan or persistent cooking odors are signs the system should be inspected regardless of age.
No. NFPA 96 governs commercial cooking operations and does not make a residential range hood an NFPA-regulated system. AQHC's commercial kitchen experience is relevant because the crews are trained to remove grease thoroughly, not because a homeowner has a commercial compliance obligation.
No. Residential service covers components safely reachable from inside the kitchen, including the hood, filters, blower wheel, motor and interior duct collar. AQHC does not walk residential tile or shingle roofs or clean the full residential duct run.
The blower wheel is the fan component inside the hood that moves air. Grease accumulates on its blades over time. Removing and cleaning the wheel and motor allows the service to address buildup behind the visible hood surfaces.
Floors and nearby work surfaces are protected before degreasing begins. Grease and cleaning solution are collected and removed with the crew rather than intentionally discharged into the kitchen sink.
Yes. Residential range hood cleaning is available for owner-occupied homes, rentals, turnovers, short-term rental properties and pre-listing preparation.
